Folks come from all around to have the best crab cakes in the world - made from Chesapeake Bay blue crabs. My favorite treat, when crabs are in season is to go to one of the local crab shacks where they cover the long wooden tables with newspaper and dump those beautiful, just steamed, hard shell crabs in front of you and you spend the next hour or two crackin' and pickin' that succulent crab meat. If you don't want to work that hard for your meal, you have the soft shell crabs and eat the whole thing - legs and all.
